• Born into a family of professional vocalists, Shruteendra demonstrated a keen interest in rhythm from childhood
• Tabla training commenced at the age of 4 under the guidance of Pandit Chandra Shekhar Tripathi and later continued with Pandit Balkrishna Mishra
• Early exposure and interest in folk instruments like Dholak, Nakkara, and Duggi
• Developed expertise in tabla accompaniment under the mentorship of eminent vocalists M. V. Kalvint, Vidya Katagade, and Kashinath Bodas
• Ongoing training since 2003 under the renowned artist Pandit Yogesh Samsi of the Punjab Gharana
• Supplemental mentorship received from Pandit Susheel Kumar Jain, a virtuosic composer and tabla master

• Graded artiste of All India Radio, participated in radio broadcasts, and contributed to studio recordings
• Since 2010, dedicatedly teaching tabla at the prestigious BD Somani International School in Mumbai
• Accompanied numerous stalwarts of music, including Grammy-award winning artist Pandit Dhurba Ghosh, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Dr N. Rajam, Pt Sharad Sathe, Pandit Dinkar Kaikini, Sri Shaunak Abhisheki, among others
